Maxfield's Dawn '09 5

Maxfield Parrish was one of America's most successful artists in the twentieth century. He often used an Old Master technique called glazing to achieve his spectacular effects, and he was famous for his skies, particularly dawn/dusk.

Each January, the skies above Savannah have a glow at dawn very similar to his paintings. I've attempted to capture these skies each year at this time. I hope you enjoy the humble result.
